What “fully managed” really means

office_massage_london

When you book a workplace wellbeing day with Stretching the City, you book a partnership, not a stack of sessions. We plan, curate, schedule, deliver and report on the whole day — you give us a brief, we run with it.

  • One point of contact. One project lead, one team to coordinate facilitators, logistics, equipment, scheduling and post-event feedback. You don’t book seven specialists from seven different agencies. You book us.
  • Curated, not generic. We design the day around your team — sector, size, recent events, current wellbeing priorities. Two finance teams in the same week will get two different days. The sessions, facilitators and pace are matched to what your people actually need.
  • Trusted across UK and global teams. Whether you’re a 30-person London office or a 5,000-person multinational running coordinated wellbeing days across time zones, we deliver at scale without losing the personal touch that makes a wellbeing day land.

How it works

You brief us

A 20-minute call to scope your team, your theme, your dates, your budget. We listen first, then ask the questions that get to the underlying need.)

We make our proposal

Within two working days, we send you a tailored day shape — sessions, facilitators, pricing, timings — for you to react to. We refine together until it fits.

We deliver

We handle every detail — logistics, facilitators, equipment, scheduling, comms templates for your team, on-the-day delivery, and a post-event feedback survey so you can report impact internally. You show up and enjoy your team’s day.

Let’s start with a 20-min planning call

Anatomy of a workplace wellbeing day:

Your day won’t look exactly like this — every wellbeing day we deliver is tailored. The visual above shows a typical full-day shape combining energiser, signature workshop, drop-in chair massage, conversation café, panel, mindful close and team commitment.

Half-day, virtual and hybrid versions are also available. See half-day, full-day and virtual examples →

Six anchor workshops to build your day around

Every wellbeing day we deliver centres on one or two flagship workshops. These six are the most-booked anchors:

Wellbeing_at_work

Workplace wellbeing (Our signature session)

A foundational, broad-spectrum session introducing the building blocks of workplace wellbeing. Where many teams start if they want a single all-purpose introduction.

rest_recovery_Performance_workshop

Sleep, Recovery & Performance

A deeper session linking sleep, recovery, and sustained high performance. Designed for teams in roles where rest is the primary lever for cognitive output — finance, healthcare, tech, leadership.

mental fitness hour

Mental Health Awareness for Everyone

A whole-team foundational session, designed to remove stigma and equip every colleague with the basics: What mental health is, what it isn’t, how to spot when a peer is struggling, how to start the conversation. Pairs naturally with mental health training for managers. 60 min.

mindful_chocolate_tasting_workshop

Mindful Chocolate Tasting

Sensory mindfulness for the team that rolls its eyes at meditation. The afternoon close people remember.

moving_more_for_mental_health

Moving More for our Mental health

A grounded session on the well-established link between movement and mental health, and the small, sustainable habits that actually shift mood and energy.

eating for energy workshop

Eating for Energy workshop

Practical fuelling for office and hybrid teams. Covers blood-sugar stability, hydration, the meals that actually sustain focus, and the simple food swaps that beat the post-lunch slump. Suits any team feeling the energy dip and looking for changes they can make this week. 60 min.

Workplace wellbeing day FAQs

How much does a workplace wellbeing day cost?

Pricing depends on team size, location, format (in-person, virtual, hybrid), number of workshops, and whether you book extras such as drop-in chair massage or a keynote. Typically, a fully managed half-day for a 50-person team costs less than buyers expect; a full-day in-person London wellbeing day for 100 people sits in the mid four-figure range. Get in touch with your team size and dates and we’ll come back with a tailored quote within two working days.

How far in advance do we need to book?

For in-person wellbeing days, we recommend booking 4-8 weeks ahead, especially around peak seasons (Mental Health Awareness Week in May, World Mental Health Day in October). For virtual or hybrid days, 2-4 weeks is usually enough. Urgent requests — get in touch and we’ll be honest about what’s possible.

Do you deliver across the UK and globally?

Yes — we deliver in-person across the UK (London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and beyond) and virtually to global teams across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Hybrid days combining in-person and virtual elements are also possible.

Can you plan the whole day for us?

Yes — that’s exactly what “fully managed” means. We handle scheduling, facilitators, equipment, logistics, communications templates for your team, on-the-day delivery and post-event feedback. You give us a brief, we run with it.

Day shape and content

How long is a typical wellbeing day?

Half-day (3-4 hours), full-day (6-8 hours), or multi-day formats are all common. Half-day is a great entry point and works well for hybrid teams; full-day allows deeper workshops, longer drop-in experiences and meaningful conversation space.

Do you offer virtual wellbeing days?

Yes — virtual wellbeing days run as 2-4 hour compressed sessions combining workshops, energisers and a keynote or panel. Same expert facilitators, recording included, accessible to global teams.

Can the day be themed around an awareness moment?

Yes — many of our wellbeing days are anchored to Mental Health Awareness Week, Nutrition and Hydration Week, World Mental Health Day, Stress Awareness Month, Time to Talk Day or other awareness moments. The theme gives the day a clear focus and lifts engagement. See our 2026 Wellbeing Awareness Days Calendar →

What’s the difference between a wellbeing day and a wellbeing week?

A wellbeing day is a single dedicated day — typically the visible peak of an annual moment. A wellbeing week extends that into five days with deeper themes and more variety. Many organisations run an annual flagship wellbeing day plus a wellbeing week tied to an awareness moment. See our wellbeing week guide →
