Menopause Training for HR Teams: What you need to know:
A 60-minute, GP-led session built specifically for HR professionals — focused on the menopause requirements of the Equality Action Plan and the practical role HR teams will play in delivering them.
Why HR teams need this training
HR and People teams are the ones who’ll own menopause readiness — translating new legislation into policy, equipping managers, and making sure support is consistent rather than dependent on who someone happens to report to. Specifically, this 60-minute GP-led session is built for HR professionals, focused on the practical implications of the forthcoming Equality Action Plan requirements and your role in delivering them.
Furthermore, under the Employment Rights Act 2025, employers with 250 or more staff will publish an Equality Action Plan covering both their gender pay gap and how they support employees experiencing menopause. It’s voluntary for the 2026/27 reporting year — a practice run — and expected to become mandatory from spring 2027. As a result, this session makes sure your HR team understands both the organisational requirements and how to act on them with confidence.

How it maps to the government’s recommended actions
This session, and the wider programme it leads into, deliver the government’s named menopause actions:
- Training managers (action one)
- Access to clinical and occupational health advice via our GP (action two)
- Equipping HR to put workplace adjustments, support networks and a readiness assessment in place.
Furthermore, policy wording stays with your legal and HR teams — we give you the accurate, GP-backed content to make the actions real.
The first step in your action plan
This session is the natural entry point to our 90-day menopause action plan programme. Specifically, once your HR team is confident, roll out menopause training for managers and menopause awareness training for all employees to embed support across the organisation.

Menopause Training for HR Teams – FAQs
Who in our HR team should attend?
The session is built for HR business partners, People & Culture leads, DEI managers, wellbeing programme owners and anyone responsible for menopause policy. As a result, larger HR teams often book it for the whole function together — so everyone hears the same brief and forms a shared view.
Will this give us the actual policy wording for our menopause action plan?
Not quite — and that’s deliberate. Specifically, policy wording sits with your legal and HR teams, who own governance. As a result, what this session does is give you the accurate, GP-backed clinical and workplace content to make policy and the recommended actions real. Therefore, your team leaves equipped to write or refine policy with credible substance.
How does this fit with the wider action plan programme?
This HR Teams session is the natural starting point. Specifically, once HR is confident, you roll out manager training (the government’s first recommended action), then awareness training for all employees, then 1:1 GP consultations for individuals who need them. As a result, the full programme delivers the recommended actions in 90 days.
Can we record the session for HR colleagues who can’t attend live?
Yes — recording is included as standard. As a result, HR colleagues in different regions or time zones can catch up asynchronously. Furthermore, for larger HR functions across multiple offices, we can run the session twice in different time zones.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on whether you’re booking standalone or as part of the wider Menopause Workplace Support Programme. Specifically, programme bookings are priced more favourably than one-offs. Book a discovery call and we’ll send a clear quote within 48 hours.
