Rest & Recovery: How to Recover after a Bad Night’s Sleep

We’ve all been there. After a terrible night’s sleep, making it through the day can feel an impossible task. In this 30 minute session, our sleep therapist will share tips for surviving and thriving after a poor night’s sleep. You’ll discover: 

  • What to do in the morning following a ‘bad’ night
  • The best foods to eat during the day to boost your energy
  • Ways to recoup rest in the day
  • How to wind down before bed at night and avoid getting  stuck in a vicious cycle of over tiredness.
The Secret to Good Sleep: Balancing the Nervous System

The key to healing any sleep problem starts with rebalancing the nervous system. This interactive 30 minute session will share practical self-regulation techniques to help take your nervous system from a state of ‘fight or flight’ to ‘rest and digest’. Our sleep therapist will guide participants through:  

  • A sleep-inducing breathing technique
  • Lymphatic activation
  • Self-acupressure
  • A sleep hypnosis meditation
A Deep Dive in to Sleep Disorders

Learn the causes of common sleep disorders and identify signs that you aren’t getting enough sleep or that your sleep quality may be suffering. You’ll learn more about: 

  • The following sleep disorders: Insomnia, Sleep Paralysis, Sleep Walking, Night Terrors, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Procrastination, Circadian Disorder and Excessive Daytime Sleep
  • Signs of Sleep Deprivation
Better Sleep for Parents

As much as we’re warned about the sleep deprivation that comes hand in hand with new parenthood, the reality of such tiredness can be overwhelming. Particularly once parents have returned to work, getting good sleep is essential to managing the demands of being a working parent. In this 30 minute session, learn:

  • How to compensate for lack of sleep
  • Ways to sneak in restorative rest when you only have a few minutes
  • Tips to regulate your nervous system

We also offer 1:1 sleep consultations to allow your employees to discuss their personal sleep struggles with our qualified sleep therapist. Many clients book the 1 hour Sleep School webinar, followed by a half or full day of 30 minute 1:1 sessions.
