Neurodiversity at Work Workshop: What you need to know:
Building Workplaces Where All Minds Thrive.
Neurodiversity at work is not a trend — it’s a vital part of a truly inclusive workplace.
1 in 7 people in the UK in the UK are neurodivergent, yet many still face barriers to being understood, supported and empowered at work. This practical and thought-provoking training helps organisations build neuroinclusive cultures where diverse ways of thinking are not just accepted, but valued.
Our 60-minute Neurodiversity Awareness Training equips teams to recognise and value cognitive diversity, understand the challenges neurodivergent colleagues may face, and put inclusive working practices in place that allow everyone to contribute their strengths.
Led by a neurodiversity trainer and mental health professional with previous roles as Head of Additional Learning and L&D. In-person across the UK or virtual for global teams.
What this Neurodiversity at Work workshop covers:
- What neurodiversity at work really means — and why it matters for performance, retention and inclusion
- Common neurodivergent profiles (e.g. ADHD, autism, dyslexia) and how they may show up in the workplace
- Misconceptions and unconscious bias around neurodivergence — and how to challenge them constructively
- How to communicate, collaborate and lead more inclusively across different cognitive styles
- Simple adjustments that make a big impact — for individuals, teams and culture
- The role of allyship, policy, and psychological safety in building an environment where neurodivergent talent thrives
The session combines evidence-based insight with real-world scenarios, making it ideal for organisations serious about equity, inclusion and supporting every kind of brain at work.

Workshop outcomes
After the session, your team and organisation gain:
- A shared, accurate understanding of what neurodiversity means at work
- The vocabulary to talk about neurodivergence without stigma or assumption
- A practical adjustments checklist managers can apply immediately
- Greater confidence in identifying and removing barriers that have been quietly limiting people
- A foundation for any neurodiversity policy or ERG work your organisation wants to develop

Why this matters for your organisation

- Diverse cognitive styles enhance creativity, problem-solving and innovation. Companies that champion neurodiversity consistently report improved collaboration and richer perspectives. (Source).
- Neuro-inclusive workplaces see higher retention and lower absence. Staff who feel seen and supported are more engaged and more likely to stay. (Source)
- Better communication and fewer misunderstandings. Awareness reduces conflict, improves clarity, and supports more effective teamwork.
- You attract talent others miss. A neurodiversity-friendly employer brand widens your candidate pool to a group with exceptional problem-solving, creativity and loyalty — and one that’s still under-tapped by most employers.

READY TO SUPPORT NEURODIVERSITY AT WORK?
If you’re planning Neurodiversity Celebration Week, building out your DEI strategy, or responding to a team that’s asked for this kind of training, let’s talk.
Neurodiversity in the Workplace: FAQS
Is this training for the whole team, or just managers?
Both — we run two versions. The 60-minute session works for whole teams and builds shared understanding. The 90-minute manager-focused session goes deeper into practical adjustments, performance conversations and inclusive leadership.
Is this suitable to deliver during Neurodiversity Celebration Week?
Yes — Neurodiversity Celebration Week (17–23 March 2026) is our peak season for this workshop. Book early.
Can a neurodivergent panel speaker be involved?
Yes — we also offer facilitated panel discussions and fireside chats where neurodivergent voices share their experience. Often the most powerful format for awareness weeks.
Do you cover specific conditions (ADHD, autism, dyslexia)?
Yes. The workshop covers common neurodivergent profiles broadly, with enough detail that managers and colleagues recognise how they may show up. We don’t pretend to make participants experts — we equip them to ask better questions and respond more inclusively.
Is this delivered by a neurodivergent facilitator?
Our facilitator brings lived experience alongside professional credentials in L&D and additional learning support. We can specifically arrange neurodivergent panel members if you’d like that element added.
Can we record this and share internally afterwards?
Yes for virtual delivery — recordings are included as standard.
What does it cost?
Tailored pricing based on duration, format, audience size and whether you’re booking standalone or as part of a programme. Multi-workshop bookings are priced more favourably. Book a discovery call and we’ll send a clear quote within 48 hours.

Productivity Workshop
AUDIENCE: Different working styles · Energy rhythms · Inclusive performance
Addresses different working styles and natural energy rhythms — a natural complement to neurodiversity training for teams who want to put inclusive working into practice, not just talk about it. Particularly valuable where deep-focus and ADHD-style working need to coexist.

The Mental Fitness Hour
AUDIENCE: Inclusive culture · DEI programmes · Whole-workforce
Broadens the inclusive culture work beyond neurodiversity into wider proactive mental wellbeing. Frequently booked alongside Neurodiversity Awareness during inclusion campaigns and DEI months — neurodiversity is a key part of inclusive mental health.

Psychological Safety at Work
AUDIENCE: Foundation for inclusion · DEI programmes · Leadership training
Inclusion only works inside psychological safety. Without it, neurodivergent colleagues don’t disclose, don’t ask for adjustments, and don’t bring their full strengths to the team. Pairs naturally with Neurodiversity Awareness as the foundational layer — the conditions under which everything else works.
