Healthy Habits & Motivating Mindset Workshop: What you need to know:
An Olympic Sport Psychologist’s Toolkit for Behaviour Change at Work
It’s one thing knowing how to live a healthy lifestyle. It’s another to actually do it. Time pressures, temptations and the stresses of everyday life make it hard to turn good intentions into long-term action.
This 60-minute workshop is delivered by a chartered Sport Psychologist with experience coaching Olympic GB teams — the same person who’s helped elite athletes engineer sustainable behaviour change under the most demanding conditions imaginable. Now translating those tools for your team’s working day.
You’ll learn how the keys to effective, long-term behaviour change lie in the approach we take and the mindset we adopt — and you’ll experience a live GROW coaching framework in the session itself.
What this Habits & Mindset Workshop covers:
This session cuts through the noise with science-backed tools and sports psychology techniques that make behaviour change achievable, sustainable and motivating.
- How to use Behaviour Change Science to increase your chance of success
- Simple, actionable steps to close the intention-action gap — the missing piece in most wellbeing programmes
- The power of habits and routines — including evidence-based strategies for habits that stick
- Identifying and overcoming common triggers and barriers to healthy living
- The tools of accountability, goal setting and self-monitoring that work in the real world
- A guided live GROW coaching tool — 20 powerful questions using the GROW framework, applied in the room to help attendees commit to new goals and habits
Workshop outcomes:
After the session, your team leaves with:
- A clearer understanding of why most wellbeing intentions fail — and what closes the gap
- The GROW coaching framework experienced live, ready to apply to their own goals
- Specific behaviour change tools used by elite athletes, translated for the working day
- A reframed view of mindset — not “think positive” platitudes, but the actual psychology that drives sustainable change
When this workshop is the right fit:

- You’ve run wellbeing workshops but the patterns aren’t shifting — this addresses the meta-skill underneath all of it
- You’re investing in leadership development — the Olympic sport psychology angle lands particularly well with senior cohorts
- New Year / January programming — when behaviour change is on everyone’s mind
- Wellbeing campaigns or awareness weeks — works well as the “now what?” closing session that turns awareness into action
Particularly valuable for: Leadership cohorts who’ve heard the wellbeing content already; high-performing professional services teams where peak performance language resonates; sales and revenue teams used to performance frameworks; consulting firms running internal leadership development.
How this workshop pairs with others:

Habits & Mindset sits at the intersection of mental wellbeing, performance and behaviour change. Strong pairings beyond the mental health cluster:
- Pair with the Wellbeing at Work Workshop: Sally’s signature workshop on healthy daily habits — Wellbeing at Work gives the what; Habits & Mindset gives the how to actually do it. Strong combination.
- Pair with Peak Performance at Work: The performance pair — Peak Performance addresses nervous system regulation; Habits & Mindset addresses behaviour change. Together a complete sustainable performance picture.
- Pair with the Productivity Workshop: Productivity gives the cognitive structure; Habits & Mindset gives the underlying behaviour change science. Often booked together for leadership development cohorts.
- Pair with Mental Fitness Hour: The proactive mental wellbeing companion — Mental Fitness builds the foundations; Habits & Mindset closes the intention-action gap.

Healthy Habits & a Motivating Mindset workshop FAQs
Is this an Olympic sport psychology workshop or a workplace wellbeing workshop?
Both — and that’s the point. The facilitator brings the same science used to coach Olympic GB teams, translated into language and tools that work for the working day. You don’t need to be an athlete; you need to want sustainable change.
What’s the GROW coaching framework?
GROW (Goals, Reality, Options, Will) is a globally-recognised coaching model used at senior leadership levels. The workshop includes a live 20-question GROW exercise applied to a wellbeing habit each participant chooses — so people leave having actually used the framework, not just learned about it.
Is this just “think positive” mindset content?
No — and the facilitator specifically avoids that. The session is grounded in evidence-based behaviour change science — habit formation research, the intention-action gap, accountability mechanisms that actually work. No vague positive thinking, no “manifest your goals” content.
Is it suitable for senior leadership?
Yes — and the Olympic sport psychologist angle lands particularly well with senior cohorts who are used to performance frameworks. We often book this for leadership development programmes.
Can the workshop be tailored?
Yes. We adapt for audience (leadership, individual contributors, mixed), sector context, and any specific themes (post-festive habits in January, peak season behaviour change, returning-to-office reset).
What does it cost?
Tailored pricing based on duration, format and whether you’re booking standalone or as part of a programme. Multi-workshop bookings are priced more favourably. Book a discovery call and we’ll send a quote within 48 hours.
