AI &Wellbeing Workshop: What you need to know:
Using AI Well at Work: The wellbeing conversation most AI training misses.
AI is now in every corner of the working day — sometimes visibly, more often not. Every corporate training deck has covered the same three points: use it deliberately, verify your outputs, protect your data. And your team has already heard it.
What they haven’t heard (and what this session opens up) is the wellbeing conversation underneath.
77% of knowledge workers say AI has added to their workload, not reduced it. (Upwork, 2024.) A generation of workers is quietly anxious about proficiency, about being replaced, and (most interestingly)— about what happens to their own thinking when AI does more of it for them.
This is what a good AI & wellbeing workshop actually needs to hold: The practical craft plus the harder conversation about what the tool is doing to us. We do both.
What this AI and Wellbeing Workshop covers:
- Module 1: Focus, Judgement & Load. Where AI genuinely earns its place, and the cognitive muscles worth protecting. Includes the science of focus, the cognitive offloading question (what happens to skills we stop using), and the meta-work paradox.
- Module 2: The Craft of Prompting. A repeatable four-part framework (GCSE — Goal · Context · Source · Expectations) that turns vague prompts into useful ones. Weak-vs-strong prompt comparison, then a live practice on a real task.
- Module 3: Calibrated Use. Boundaries that protect your judgement, your wellbeing, and your work — including the trickier terrain most training avoids: the parasocial dimension (AI as confidant), the always-on amplification effect, and a practical six-area boundaries framework participants leave with.
What makes this workshop different

Most AI training is delivered by tech vendors or productivity coaches. We come at it from a workplace wellbeing lens — which lets us hold the parts of the conversation that other sessions can’t:
- The anxiety that AI creates as well as the efficiency
- The cognitive muscles AI risks softening if used undiscerningly
- The emotional/parasocial use of AI that’s happening quietly at people’s desks
- The system-level pressure AI adds to always-on culture — not just the individual response
We’re not anti-AI, and we’re not evangelists. We hold the practical middle position: AI is here, it’s useful, and it can support wellbeing if used deliberately. It can also erode wellbeing if used reactively. We teach the deliberate use — with a clarity you won’t get from a tech vendor.

Workshop outcomes:
- A clearer understanding of how AI is shaping — and potentially eroding — their working day
- A framework (GCSE) for getting genuinely better output from AI in less time
- Awareness of the cognitive muscles worth protecting, and how to protect them
- A vocabulary for the meta-work paradox, the parasocial dimension, and the always-on amplification effect
- A personalised set of boundaries and mindset shifts to take away
- Eight take-home prompts they can use in their own week
- Confidence to use AI deliberately — not anxiously, not avoidantly.
When this workshop is the right fit:
- You’re rolling out AI at scale. Copilot, custom workflows, AI-first tools — you want the wellbeing conversation happening alongside the capability build
- You’ve seen the AI anxiety in the room and don’t have a language for it. Your team is either quietly anxious or quietly resentful and no-one is naming it
- You’re running a Mental Health Awareness Week or Stress Awareness Week campaign. AI is the modern stress driver few sessions address head-on
- You’re a leadership team setting AI culture. Senior leaders shape the AI culture — often without meaning to. This workshop is worth running just for them
- You’ve done the practical “how to prompt” training already. This is the next conversation.

What our clients say
How this workshop pairs with others
AI and Wellbeing is the natural next chapter of the modern tech-at-work cluster. It pairs naturally with:
- Pair with the Digital Wellbeing Workshop — Digital Wellbeing covers the broader picture of tech overwhelm; AI and Wellbeing zooms into the specific new dimension. Strong pairing.
- Pair with Smarter Email Habits — email is one of the first places AI shows up (smart compose, scheduling, summaries). The two workshops together give a complete modern-inbox programme.
- Pair with Digital Wellbeing for Working Parents — the audience-specific deepening. AI and digital tools blur the line between work and home more aggressively for working parents than for almost anyone else; this workshop addresses that specific reality. Strong pairing for inclusive family wellbeing programmes and Families ERGs.
- Also pair with the Productivity Workshop — AI is reshaping how productivity works. Pairing addresses both the capability and the wellbeing of using it well.

The most-booked modern-work configuration: Digital Wellbeing + Smarter Email Habits + AI and Wellbeing as a quarterly programme. For inclusive family-focused programming: AI and Wellbeing + Digital Wellbeing for Working Parents + Digital Wellbeing. Tell us your context on the discovery call.

AI & Wellbeing Workshop FAQs:
Do participants need to be technical or already use AI tools?
No. The workshop is genuinely accessible to AI-curious, AI-confident, and AI-cautious audiences alike. We cover what AI is, how it’s already in their daily tools (often without them realising), and what to do about it.
Is this just a workshop about ChatGPT?
No. While we cover specific tools where useful, the workshop is about the broader relationship between AI, work and wellbeing. The principles will outlast any specific tool.
Is this anti-AI or pro-AI?
Neither — and that’s the point. The workshop holds the practical middle position: AI is here, it’s useful, and it can support wellbeing if used deliberately. It can also erode wellbeing if used reactively. We teach the deliberate use.
Can the workshop be tailored to our AI rollout?
Yes. If your organisation is rolling out specific AI tools (Copilot, custom AI workflows, etc.), we can shape content around your actual use cases.
Is it suitable for senior leadership?
Yes — and we specifically recommend it. Senior leaders set the AI culture (intentionally or not). When they’re using AI to send messages at 11pm, the team learns to do the same.
Do you deliver to international teams?
Yes. Virtual delivery works across North America, Europe, the Middle East and APAC.
What does it cost?
Tailored pricing based on duration, format and whether you’re booking standalone or as part of a programme. Multi-workshop bookings are priced more favourably. Book a discovery call and we’ll send a quote within 48 hours.
