With suicide the biggest killer of men under 45 and heart disease the leading cause of death in men, it’s essential organisations put preventive measures in place to protect the health and wellbeing of their male employees. 79% of men in the UK are currently in employment, yet men are considerably at greater risk of some health issues than women. What’s more – nearly 90% of men don’t seek help unless they have a serious problem.
Delivered by experts in their fields, our trio of men’s health workshops explore men’s nutrition, mental health and mid-life (andropause) wellbeing.
Date for your diary: Men’s Health Week: 13-19 June 2022 and November is Men’s Health Awareness Month.
Listening to Charlie’s very open recounting of the issues he faced really resonated with me. It’s really nice to see men’s mental health being normalised more, and to see an environment that openly encourages sharing like this.
This session was so well articulated and has really helped me personally.
The Men’s Mental Health talk was transformational! There is such good commentary around the office from people who joined too.
