Virtual Cooking Class: Healthy Cookies
For the majority of us, a year spent working from home in close proximity to the kitchen, has meant we are no stranger to the biscuit tin! In this 30 minute virtual cooking class, you’ll whip up a batch of healthy cookies that satisfy a sweet craving and pack a nutritional punch.
Containing chia seeds, nuts, dates and dark chocolate chips, these delicious cookies are lightly sweetened with natural sugars and paired with satiating fats (from the seeds and nuts). Pairing sugars with fat/and or protein can help slow down the release of sugars, providing you with a slower, consistent release of energy – rather than a peak in hyper energy and an almighty sugar crash.
Prior to the class, you’ll be sent a list of easy-to-source ingredients to buy beforehand. You’re then ready to get baking alongside your colleagues.
How it works:
- Capacity: 100 people virtually.
- Length: 30 minutes
- Logistics: Upon booking, you’ll be sent a shopping list of ingredients to source beforehand, alongside a Zoom link for the session itself. For optimum fun and interactivity, we encourage everyone to have their cameras on.
- Your facilitator: A Harley Street nutritionist.
“I really enjoyed the session and all the wonderful nutritional tips, as well as learning how to make healthy cookies.”
