A Corporate Nutrition workshop for Focus and Performance

We’ve all felt it — the mid-morning slump, the post-lunch dip, the foggy afternoon when focus fades and the third coffee starts to look reasonable. Often it isn’t workload that’s to blame. It’s what (and how) we’re eating.

This energising 60-minute Eating for Energy workshop demystifies the science of food and fatigue — helping employees understand how nutrition shapes focus, mood and performance throughout the day.

Grounded in evidence-based nutrition and delivered by an experienced corporate dietitian, this session equips participants with simple, sustainable ways to eat for stable energy at the desk, on the go, or working from home. No fad diets, no impossible meal plans, no moralising about food. Just practical, science-backed change that lasts.

Led by a Harley Street BANT-accredited nutritional therapist. In-person UK or virtual worldwide.

What we cover in Eating for Energy:

Lead by a Harley Street Nutritionist, this insightful 60 minute workshop will cover:

  • Blood Sugar & Energy Stability: What really causes crashes, cravings and brain fog and how to eat in a way that keeps energy steady rather than spiking and dipping.
  • What a High-Energy Day on a Plate Looks Like: Practical meal inspiration and ideas.
  • Snacking 101: How to choose snacks that fuel you rather than drain you, including quick, affordable options for busy workdays.
  • Navigating Sugar: Learn how to reduce intake without restriction or guilt.
  • Key Nutrients for Energy Production: The essential vitamins, fats and minerals that support mitochondria (your body’s “energy factories.”)
  • All Things Caffeine: How caffeine boosts (and sabotages) productivity, the role of timing, and how to avoid the adrenalin rollercoaster.
  • Natural Energy Boosters: Lifestyle tweaks: movement, hydration, daylight, protein timing, that enhance alertness and reduce fatigue.

Workshop outcomes:

After the session, participants typically leave with:

  • A reframed relationship with food: fuel for performance, not a source of guilt
  • A clearer understanding of how food affects their focus, mood and energy
  • 3–5 evidence-based changes they can apply immediately — no overhaul required
  • A better grasp of their personal patterns (the post-lunch dip, the 3pm crash, the cravings)
  • Confidence to make smarter snacking and meal choices at work and at home

When this workshop is the right fit:

  • Nutrition & Hydration Week (March). This is the most-booked workshop for the week — book early.
  • Your team is running on caffeine and sugar. Productivity is dipping in the afternoon, and the cycle of caffeine + crash + sugar fix is showing up in the team.
  • You’re building a wellbeing programme. Nutrition is one of the most under-addressed areas of corporate wellbeing — and one of the highest-impact for the investment.
  • You’re hosting a wellbeing day or away-day. Eating for Energy works brilliantly as a session within a wider wellbeing event — especially when paired with a healthy lunch.
  • Hybrid or remote teams. Working-from-home nutrition is its own challenge — the workshop addresses this directly.

The cognitive performance angle

brain_power_corporate_nutrition_workshop

For teams needing sharper focus, not just steady energy

When you feel mentally sluggish, foggy, or unable to concentrate at work, there’s a good chance what you have or haven’t eaten is to blame. Research from Harvard Health shows that nutrient-rich foods, hydration and smart daily habits significantly improve brain performance — helping employees stay sharp and energised throughout the day.

This workshop covers the cognitive-performance dimension of nutrition alongside the broader energy picture:

  • The best brain-boosting foods for concentration, creativity and mental clarity
  • Blood sugar balance to avoid the energy crashes that destroy productivity
  • The role of hydration in cognitive function — and simple ways to stay optimally hydrated
  • Smart snacking for sustained focus — what to reach for at 3pm instead of the biscuit tin

What clients say

kodify_corporate_wellbeing

I learnt so much! Not least that we really need probiotics, prebiotics and omega3 in our diet.

The feedback I have received from the participants so far is hugely positive, with 100% stating the session was above their expectations.

sky_mental_health_at_work

The content was really insightful, a lot covered in just the hour but it didn’t feel like too much. A really well developed session

How this workshop pairs with others

Nutrition is one of the two biggest physical foundations of sustained performance (the other is sleep). Eating for Energy pairs naturally with:

  • Pair with the Sleep Workshop for the complete physical-foundations programme — sleep and fuel are the two biggest levers most teams haven’t pulled.
  • Pair with the Productivity Workshop — productivity addresses how to structure focused work; nutrition addresses what’s fuelling it.
  • Pair with Good Mood Food — our natural sister nutrition workshop. Where Eating for Energy zooms in on stable energy and focus, Good Mood Food explores how nutrition shapes mood, motivation and mental wellbeing. Often booked as a pair for organisations who want a fuller nutrition programme — especially around Nutrition & Hydration Week or as part of a wellbeing day.
  • Pair with Employee Burnout Workshop for teams in burnout recovery — nutrition is foundational to physical recovery.

Eating for Energy Nutrition workshop: FAQS

Is this a “clean eating” or restrictive nutrition workshop?

No — and we specifically avoid that. Our facilitator works from evidence-based nutrition, not from food moralising. There are no “bad foods” lectures, no impossible meal plans, no demands for radical dietary change.

Is this appropriate for teams with members who have eating disorders or disordered eating?

The workshop is delivered with care, avoiding language and content that could be triggering. For organisations with specific concerns about disordered eating, we can pre-discuss content adjustments — and we’d refer you to specialist clinical support for any individuals who need it.

Can the workshop be tailored to specific dietary preferences?

Yes. We can adapt content for vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, gluten-free or specific cultural eating patterns. We can also focus on specific scenarios — frequent business travel, shift work, hybrid working, parenting.

Can you tie it into Nutrition & Hydration Week?

Yes — Nutrition & Hydration Week (March) is one of our peak times for this workshop. We can also tie it into a wider March wellbeing programme.

Does the workshop involve food being served?

Not as standard — it’s a conceptual session. But we can pair it with a healthy team lunch if you’re running a wider wellbeing day.

Do you deliver to international teams?

Yes. Virtual delivery works across North America, Europe, the Middle East and APAC. Recipe takeaways can be adapted for international audiences.

What does it cost?

Tailored pricing based on duration, format and whether you’re booking standalone or as part of a programme. Multi-workshop bookings are priced more favourably. Book a discovery call and we’ll send a quote within 48 hours.
