
Squeeze a slice of calm in to your day with 30 minutes of mindfulness
We appreciate time is scarce and not everyone can attend an hour’s workshop, so this 30 minute mindfulness session gets straight to the point with purely practical guided meditations to rejuvenate and refocus the mind. Sharing the core principles of mindfulness meditation, these short meditations will help cultivate a connection to the present moment – which in turn can lead to improved productivity, morale, mood and reduced stress.
You can book a one-off session of 30 minutes. Or, if you’re keen to explore mindfulness more, we offer a 4 week course of our 30 minute classes. Over the 4 weeks we’ll explore a range of mindfulness meditations to help you become more calm, present and aware. See below for a breakdown of the 4 week course.
Week 1
- Meditation 1: Counted Breathing – use your breath as a focus (or mindful ‘anchor’) and practising regulating the pace of breath through counting
- Meditation 2: Body Scan – connect with and listen to your body with a sense of kindness and non-judgement
Week 2
- Meditation 1: Calm Focus – explore the repetition of a repeated focus phrase to both calm and quieten a wandering mind
- Meditation 2: Mountain Meditation – a visualisation meditation designed to help build strength and resilience
Week 3
- Meditation 1: Gratitude Meditation – tap into the positive wellbeing benefits of gratitude and help break negative thought cycles
- Meditation 2: Open Awareness – tune into the flow of thoughts to help practise not over-identifying with them (and support creative thinking)
Week 4
- Meditation 1: Breath Focus – explore the sensations of the breath as a mindfulness anchor
- Meditation 2: Mindful Eating Chocolate Meditation – a full sensory engaging experience through the slow mindful tasting of chocolate (please bring a piece of chocolate or two for this one)
