A corporate neurodiversity workshop
Neurodiversity refers to the different ways the brain can work and interpret information. It is estimated that 1 in 7 people (more than 15% of people in the UK) are neurodivergent, meaning that the brain functions, learns and processes information differently.
As awareness of neurodiversity grows, workplaces are being urged to consider how they can accommodate and make space for neurodivergent individuals to thrive. Most forms of Neurodivergence are defined on a spectrum and include Attention Deficit Disorders, Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. Rather than a hindrance or a disability, these can be considered ‘superpowers’ that give individuals and organisations a competitive edge – if nurtured in the correct way.

Affecting 1-2% of the adults in the UK, autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others. People with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can find the workplace difficult for a number of reasons, generally related to difficulties with communication, social skills and sensory sensitivity. However, there is plenty organisations can do to help their autistic employees thrive.
ADHD: Coping Mechanisms and Co-Conditions
ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ) are both brain-based conditions that affect people’s ability to stay focused on things like work tasks, social interactions and everyday activities. People with ADD and ADHD also tend to be more curious, creative, imaginative, innovative, and inventive. In this workshop, learn how to nurture and support these traits amongst your employees with ADD / ADHD.
