Living with Lockdown: Navigating the Uncertainty
Following almost a year of lockdown and tiered restrictions, in January 2021 the UK’s PM announced a 3rd national lockdown. The trajectory of the pandemic has been anything but predictable. Over the summer months we had a taste of a ‘new normal’ of living, working and socialising, before being plunged in to another lockdown, a cancelled Christmas and now – Lockdown 3.0, with months of uncertainty and trepidation ahead.
Continuing to work from home over the dark winter months, with limited social interaction, the stresses of homeschooling and yet more restrictions to contend with will require us to dig deep in to our reserves of resilience and adaptability. We will need psychological tools to help us manage and tolerate our feelings of uncertainty, anxiety and even despair at the restrictions to our freedom and ways of living and working.
This bespoke webinar has been created by two leading clinical psychologists. In this 60 minute webinar, delegates can expect to:
Understand our own responses to the current restrictions, which can range from feelings of extreme anxiety to enjoyment.
Identify and strengthen our psychological flexibility skills.
Have practical tools to draw on during this time to help cope and mange stresses and challenges of continuing to work from home, with limited social interaction and potentially children at home too.
Connect with colleagues over shared concerns and challenges they are experiencing.
Strengthen their wellbeing toolkits.

“Life after Lockdown was extremely helpful and informative. Even though I have done a CBT course previously, this workshop provided all of the most important and useful tools in a short space of time, it was much easier to take it in to use for the future.”

“The session was very engaging, Dr L using the features of zoom (chat, polls) to break through the glass wall, making it a good interactive session.”
