Living with Lockdown: Navigating the Uncertainty
In late September 2020, the UK’s PM scuppered plans for employees to gradually return to work and threatened another national lockdown if Covid cases don’t reduce. Just as we were adapting to a ‘new normal’ of living, working and socialising, once again we find ourselves plunged into uncertainty and trepidation for the months ahead.
Continuing to work from home over the dark winter months, with limited social interaction, regular disruption to childcare and the constant threat of greater lockdown restrictions will require us to dig deep in to our reserves of resilience and adaptability. We will need psychological tools to help us manage and tolerate our feelings of uncertainty, anxiety and even despair at the restrictions to our freedom and ways of living and working.
This bespoke webinar has been created by two leading clinical psychologists. In this 60 minute webinar, delegates can expect to:
Understand our own responses to the current lockdown situation, which can range from feelings of extreme anxiety to enjoyment.
Identify and strengthen our psychological flexibility skills.
Have practical tools to draw on during this time to help cope and mange stresses and challenges of continuing to work from home, with limited social interaction and potentially children at home too.
Connect with colleagues over shared concerns and challenges they are experiencing.
Strengthen their wellbeing toolkits.

“Life after Lockdown was extremely helpful and informative. Even though I have done a CBT course previously, this workshop provided all of the most important and useful tools in a short space of time, it was much easier to take it in to use for the future.”
