Corporate Nutrition Workshops
60 minute seminar-style nutrition workshops delivered straight to your boardroom.
Keeping Well @ Work
Long days at the office and mounting deadlines can put healthy eating on the back-burner. In this talk, we’ll look at what constitutes a ‘Healthy’ diet – which healthy foods you should eat and why, why you should avoid certain unhealthy foods and the best breakfasts and lunches to eat for optimal energy, mood and productivity. Our most generic introduction to all things nutrition, this talk will finish with a round-up of tips for a healthy and productivity day at work.
Good Mood Food: Nutrition for Mental Health
The food we ingest can have a profound effect on our mood and mental wellbeing. Discover the link between certain foods and poor mental health and understand what you should be eating to help make ‘happy hormones’ and boost the body and mind during times of stress, overwhelm and poor mental health. You’ll also learn about the fascinating connection between the mind and the gut (otherwise known as the ‘second brain’) and the role of inflammation in depression and anxiety.
Boost your Brain Power
Research shows that the food you consume is one of the most powerful influences on every day brain skills. Get smart on foods and nutrients that will sharpen your mind and your mood, starve off Alzheimer’s (and other forms of dementia) as well as exercise and meditation techniques to keep your brain at the top of it’s game.
Build & Balance your Immune System
Dis-regulation of the immune system can lead to more than a simple cough or cold. Discover symptoms and causes of low immunity and learn how to build your immune system back to full working order with the help of nutrient dense foods and daily practices. You’ll also discuss the role of stress, gluten and gut flora on your immune response and the power of probiotics to bring balance back to your body.
