International Women’s Day (8 March 2023) is fast becoming an unmissable event on the corporate calendar.
This year’s theme is #EmbracingEquity. Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have. A focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society and organisation’s DNA. As the IWD’s website summarises:
“When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity, and we embrace inclusion.
We embrace equity to forge harmony and unity, and to help drive success for all.
Equality is the goal, and equity is the means to get there. Through equity, we can reach equality.”
You can read more about the 2023 theme here.
Below we’ve hand-picked four of our women’s wellbeing workshops for IWD. We think these sessions do a powerful job of empowering and celebrating the women in your organisation this International Women’s Day.
Corporate Workshops to Celebrate International Women’s Day at Work
Comparatively, 43% of women are being burnt out (compared to 31% of men). International Women’s Day 2023 is the perfect opportunity to recognise the importance for women to sustain their wellbeing while they ‘embrace equity’. Hear from an experienced leadership coach on how to prevent burnout, cultivate resilience and embrace equity.
Women’s Mental Health: Self Doubt & Self Worth
Led by a female clinical psychologist, explore some of the challenges facing women in the workplace. This session has a firm focus on identifying unhelpful narratives (such as the inner critic) and building self-worth.
Particularly prevalent amongst women, Imposter Syndrome is that outward appearance of having it all together. Meanwhile, there’s a sick feeling in your stomach and a constricting feeling in your chest. This workshop will take you from feeling like a frazzled fraud to confident and capable in just 8 steps.
Be it menopause, maternity leave, imposter syndrome or fertility struggles, women have a lot to contend with as they climb the corporate ladder. Suitable for International Women’s Day, Women’s Network events, or simply to show support throughout the year. See our range of women’s wellbeing workshops here.
