How to use this calendar

This page is built for the HR, People and wellbeing leads who actually plan workplace wellbeing programmes. Each month lists the key awareness days, why they matter at work, and the workshops, panels, keynotes or experiences that organisations book to bring them to life.

A few practical notes before you scroll:

For each moment, we’ve named the workshop most-booked by UK employers — but we also offer keynote talks, fireside panels, signature wellbeing programmes and on-demand wellbeing content to suit different formats.

Many UK workplaces book the headline moments (Mental Health Awareness Week, World Mental Health Day, Movember, Menopause Day) 6-8 weeks ahead. Earlier for global teams.

Several 2027 dates are still being confirmed by their hosting charities. We’ll update this page as they’re announced — and the free PDF download will reflect the latest dates., and every entry links to a workshop you can actually book.

Q1 January–March 2027: Wellbeing Awareness Days for the New Year.

JANUARY 2027 Awareness Days: Dry January, Veganuary & Blue Monday

January is the planning month. Most HR teams have a Q1 budget to spend, a workforce returning tired, and the perennial question: How do we make this year actually land?

Dry January: 1-31 January 2027

Organised by by Alcohol Change UK, this is the annual alcohol-free month that has become a genuine workplace wellbeing moment. UK employers increasingly use it to address the broader relationship between alcohol, sleep, mental health and performance — particularly in industries where alcohol-heavy culture has historically been the norm.

Book the Mindful Drinking & Alcohol Awareness Workshop — practical, evidence-led session on the science of alcohol’s impact on sleep, mood, energy and long-term health. Often booked twice a year alongside Sober October.

corporate_alcohol_awareness_workshop

Mindful Drinking & Alcohol Awareness Workshop

Veganuary: 1-31 January 2027

The global plant-based eating campaign. Many organisations now use it as a workplace nutrition moment — not to insist on veganism, but to invest in the broader food-mood-energy conversation.

Book the Good Mood Food Workshop — the science of how nutrition affects mental wellbeing, led by a BANT-registered nutritionist. Pair with Eating for Energy for whole-team fuelling sessions.

Blue Monday: Monday 18 January 2027

The third Monday of January, often called “the most depressing day of the year.” The science behind the date is questionable, but its workplace value isn’t — it’s an annual reminder that January mood and energy genuinely dip, and forward-thinking employers use it as the moment to invest in winter mental health.

See our Blue Monday at Work blog for activity ideas. Most-booked workshops for Blue Monday: Mental Fitness Hour, Happiness at Work and our seasonal Wellbeing for Winter session.

February 2027 Awareness Days: Time to Talk Day, LGBTQ+ History Month & World Cancer Day

Q2 April–June 2027: Stress Awareness Month, Mental Health Awareness Week and Pride.

April 2027 Awareness Days: Stress Awareness Month, World Health Day & Earth Day

April is dominated by Stress Awareness Month, the UK’s annual moment for workplace stress investment. Most April bookings are organisations using the month-long campaign to build capability rather than mark a single day.

Stress Awareness Month: whole of April 2027

The UK’s headline stress moment. Many organisations use it for a four-week internal campaign covering stress, pressure, energy and burnout prevention.

The most-booked April programme combines:

  • Stress Management Workshop — the dedicated stress workshop
  • Resilience Workshop — building capacity to recover before pressure tips into burnout
  • Employee Burnout Workshop — the high-end intervention for teams under sustained pressure
  • Boundary Setting in the Workplace — protecting recovery time

See our Stress Awareness Month at Work blog for more ideas. Stress Awareness Month is a natural moment to invest in Employee Burnout Prevention before the summer peak. Preventive workshops delivered ahead of a high-pressure stretch cost less than recovery interventions after the team’s already tipped over.

Common HR questions about wellbeing awareness days

career planning workshop

How many awareness days should we mark in a year?

For most UK organisations, the answer is four to eight. The biggest impact comes from doing fewer moments well rather than ticking every box. Many of our clients anchor the year around four major moments (typically Time to Talk Day, Mental Health Awareness Week, World Mental Health Day and Movember) plus two-to-four sector-relevant or DEI moments depending on workforce.

How far ahead do we need to book?

Six to eight weeks for headline moments — earlier for global teams or popular dates. The autumn cluster (September-November) particularly tends to book up by August. For 2027 planning, the safest approach is to scope your full year by end-February and book Q3-Q4 dates by May.

What’s the difference between awareness days and a wellbeing programme?

Awareness days are the moments. A wellbeing programme is the year-round investment that makes them stick. Our Signature Wellbeing Programmes are designed to thread the awareness moments into a coherent annual rhythm — so the workshops, the manager capability, the on-demand content and the moments all work together.

Can you deliver across multiple time zones?

Yes. Our Virtual Wellbeing Workshops for Global Teams deliver live across all time zones. Add our Extended Access recordings (12-month or unlimited) for global asynchronous access, or our On-Demand Wellbeing library for ongoing engagement.

What if our budget is tight?

Our On-Demand Wellbeing library makes the awareness moments accessible at a fraction of the cost of live sessions — pre-recorded evergreen workshops covering every key moment, available 24/7 to your team. For organisations wanting to dip a toe in, start with our Mental Fitness Hour — a single session that anchors workplace mental health.
