How can workplaces mark International Women’s Day?

7th February 2019

Taking place on Friday 8 March, International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrates women’s achievements from around the world. This year’s theme is #BalanceforBetter – a call to arms for a gender balanced world.

Essential for economies and communities to thrive, Balance isn’t a women’s issue, it’s a business issue. Which is why we’re calling for companies to mark #IWD by striving for gender balance and celebrating and championing their female employees.

With this in mind, we’ve launched four new workshops tailored specifically to mark IWD.

Workshop: Being a Multi-Faceted Woman in 2019
Often there is an assumption that as women we have to choose to be ‘either, or’ – We can either be ‘X’ or ‘Y’, but we can’t have both. Fresh from her recent talk at Stylist Live, our inspirational coach will help turn this assumption on it’s head and argue the case that when we ‘show up’ and give ourselves permission to be allversions of ourselves – everything expands.”

IWD_corporate_workshop_london4Women’s Wellbeing: The Foundations of Female Health
Learn how to live your best life without counting calories, obsessing over body image and being a slave to fad diets. Learn about ‘happy’ hormones and how to make your menstrual cycle work for you, rather than the other way around. Includes a Q&A session with our expert nutritionist.

IWD_corporate_workshop_london1Hear me Roar: Finding your Inner Strength as a Woman
Many women get trapped into trying to be like men to get ahead in their careers rather than embrace their own strengths as a woman. This workshop will share tools and tips to help women feel confident, empowered and able to draw on their unique inner strength and resilience to get ahead in their careers.
